Your opay account number consists of the mobile number you signed up for opay with but without the first zero. If your opay number is 08012345678, then your opay account number will be 8012345678.

Because bank account numbers are made up of 10 digits, that is why Opay uses your mobile number as your opay account number without the first zero which would have made it 11 digits.

If you have forgotten your opay account number, don’t panic as you can easily check your account number on opay, follow the below steps to check your opay account number.

1. Open the opay app
2. On the top left, click on your profile image
3. On the top right, click on edit
4. scroll down and you will see your mobile number
